- Tuesday 3rd: I am working with another photographer for a new amazing editorial photo and video shooting that we are goin to do in Dover, where there are amazing high cliffs and some very interesting outdoors. Models will have a chance to wear high fashion clothes from designer Pierre Garroudi, work with a professional hair/makeup artist and be seen by top fashion magazines and have something totally unique for their portfolio. More details coming up soon.
- Wednesday 28th: I have added some interesting links to the homepage and on my links page for all professional and amateur photographers that are looking for good prices for equipment, on the net there is just too much choice, make sure to check out my recommendations! But you will not only find links for photo stuff, i also posted some links for travels. Just lookup for "recommended sponsors" at the top of the page.
- Tuesday 20th: Participate at my latest creation: night photography course in London! I have decided to publish this new photo workshop for people that want to learn how to use long exposure, shoot during the night and get artistic photos with special effects. If you live in Central London and want to practise with that new camera that you just purchased, don't miss this shooting opportunity in the City!
- Saturday 17th: Added new article travelling in Tokyo, check out this page where i talk about a very fascinating travel that i have done with my friends, in a totally new world where time seems to stop and everything is so perfectly tidy and crystal clean.
- Thursday 15th: I am going to start doing some camera reviews here on a non regular basis, since i am often asked questions such as is it better "canon vs. nikon" and stuff like that, so i hope to have many new readers, stay tuned!
- Thursday 8th: We have been quite lucky with the shooting yesterday with Tania since we expected rain instead sun popped up but the overall condition was cloudy. Now i am sure that many amateur photographers think that in order to get great results outdoors the best weather is a "sunny summer day" but instead the best weather for shooting outdoors is a cloudy condition, because clouds make the same effect as a huge umbrella that shields the sun so that creates a softer effect otherwise you will need to shoot in the very first hours of the day like 6am or around 7-8pm in the evening, depending by your location. If you are wondering why let's just say that sun is not your best friend especially when it comes about shadows....in fact your lovely model will not be able to look properly to your camera if the sun is too high, shadows will be hard so we will have what we call in photography lingo "hard light". Soft light is preferred usually, unless you want to achieve a special effect of course. - Tuesday 6th: There's a new shooting scheduled with a model in lovely Trieste that is going to come up soon, you will find here on the website photos and more info about the setup. Photos will take place in a villa by the sea where i will use an effective lighting, with natural sun light that will bounce inside the very ambient. I have to say that shooting with natural light is my favourite although you need to be careful since most of the time - especially during summer - the inclination of the sun changes all the time. Together with that, i am going to use a flash gun so that i will "fill in" the dark areas, and high iso settings on my Nikon D3 camera that never misses a beat. This is going to be a portfolio shoot and with also backstage video with a lingerie model posing indoors and outdoors. If the weather will permit it we are also going to do swimsuit photos at the beach.
- Friday 2nd: I recently had a meeting with the fashion designer Pierre Garroudi at his London atelier and i had the opportunity of having a good talk with him, he explained me a few things about the fashion industry and talked about his experience in New York as well. - Thursday 1st: Sometimes it just takes a little bit of magic, sometimes...it just takes a good laugh! If you live in London and you're thinking what to do on a weekend or also on a weekday, i definitely suggest going to 99 Club Comedy, which is located in Leicester Square, just near the Odeon Theatre, really super easy, 30 seconds walk from the Leicester Tube on the Piccadilly Line. - Tuesday 8th: London models, get a professional website and a new photo shoot! - Monday 31th: I have just posted the photos from Umberto & Stefania's wedding that i shot on saturday in Trieste, it was really an awesome cerimony and we were really lucky with weather in fact we managed to shoot some fantastic outdoor photos with natural lighting with this lovely couple! - Friday 28th: New "business fashion" photos with model Franco added to fashion photography, this shoot took place on "rive" in Trieste and nearby the "Salone Degli Incanti", we used soft lighting and couple of reflectors for outdoors shooting in order to achieve the look.

- Sunday 23th: I have to say that the folks at google are "genius at work", for the anniversary of the 80's game "Pacman" they put up this interactive logo that lets you play the real game for good, make sure to give it a shot! Forget all HD and hi-res games, this is the thing!

- Wednesday 5th: published photos from the London Sea Life Aquarium in reportage page; i have to say that the sharks were really scary and massive, totally worth the visit! Published new fashion photos with model Simona with 2 different looks, a very powerful color one and the classic street fashion look from recent shooting in central London for her modeling portfolio.
- Monday may 26th: new photography workshops coming up soon. Fashion photo workshop in London of sunday may 2nd has been canceled since we didn't reach the minimum number of participants needed. Workshop Theme: I Wanna Be A Rockstar, a journey through emotions with a contemporary spirit.
During the workshop, photographers will shoot 3 different "moods":
1. boredom - shot in black and white
2. euphoria - high key on color, heavy makeup
3. success - high class fashion clothing
We are going to test natural light for the first half of the workshop since the studio that i have chosen for the shoot has lots of natural light that we will use in a creative way, using reflectors so that participants can see how to use light in the way you want. Strobes lighting will be used for the second half of the workshop in fashion-shooting style. Lighting is the most important aspect of every photo shoot and when it comes to fashion photography it needs to be used in an appropriate way. We will go through portraits, full figure, lingerie, settings with soft and diffuse light by using umbrellas, reflectors and softboxes and high iso that give that classic advertising look that you see in fashion magazines such as Vogue.
Price: 125£ per person.
